Cookies

Effective from 20 October 2026

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Browser storage (localStorage) works in a similar way. On shop.oxodrink.eu we use them in two groups.

Necessary

The shop does not work without them, so we do not need your consent for them (section 89(3) of the Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll.).

  • __ph_opt_in_out_<project key> (cookie on the oxodrink.eu domain): your choice in the cookie bar. It also applies on oxodrink.eu, so we don't ask you again there. Kept 1 year or until you change it.
  • cart_id (browser storage): your cart number, so items stay in your cart. Removed once you complete an order.
  • oxo_ref (cookie): the code of the partner whose link brought you here, so their discount applies in your cart. Kept 30 days or until you enter another code.
  • medusa_selected_region (browser storage): whether you shop for delivery to Czechia or Slovakia, and in which currency.
  • NEXT_LOCALE (cookie): the site language when you switch it. Removed when you close the browser.
  • _medusa_jwt (cookie): keeps you logged in. Set only when you log in, valid for 7 days.
  • __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid (Stripe cookies): set by the Stripe payment form when you pay by card, to prevent fraud. __stripe_mid lasts 1 year, __stripe_sid 30 minutes.

The pickup point selection shows Packeta's map (widget.packeta.com). When you open it, Packeta may use its own cookies in its window under its own rules.

Analytics

We use PostHog with data stored in the EU. The data goes through our domain shop.oxodrink.eu and PostHog does not store IP addresses. Analytics shows us how the site is used, for example how many people reach checkout. We measure oxodrink.eu the same way.

Until you choose in the cookie bar, we send nothing.

If you click "Accept all", PostHog stores ph_<project key>_posthog (a cookie on the oxodrink.eu domain and browser storage) with an anonymous visitor and session identifier. It lasts 1 year. PostHog may also record the visit (movement and clicks on the page) so we can see where the site doesn't work. Anything you type into forms is hidden in the recording. The Stripe payment form and the Packeta map are not recorded, because they run in their own windows.

If you choose "Necessary only", we count anonymous visits only, without cookies and without recordings. Nothing is stored in your browser and a visit can't be linked to an earlier one. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing how many people visit the site.

How to change your choice

Click "Cookie settings" in the site footer. This clears your choice, stops analytics, makes PostHog delete its cookies and shows the cookie bar again. The choice applies to both shop.oxodrink.eu and oxodrink.eu. You can also delete everything stored at any time in your browser settings.
